Online Session Recap - 16.02.2019

Tylendel stands in front of the fire until his bones feel warm again, then tires of waiting for Quinton and flies out the window. He takes a good look at the buildings and Circles of the Hall, memories running through his mind. He throws them off and flies over to the Stormcrypts. There are torches and braziers burning intermittently in the crypts, and Tylendel makes his way carefully into them – the doors have been kept reasonably free of ice. The outer chamber looks untouched, and he makes his way down into the inner chamber. There he finds hundreds of lit candles and a large pile of bones. Some of the bones have been laid in the shape of humans - it strikes Tylendel that these are the bones of his friends of the Moon Guard, and that someone has been gathering them. Pushing the thought to the back of his mind, he makes his way into the innermost chamber, where he was once trapped by Líviu and saved by Eld.

Inside the hidden chamber he finds several more tombs, and in the middle of the floor a hole where the Seal of the Night had been. There are stairs leading into the Twisting Tunnels. He ignores the stairs and descends the open hole in the middle. On the floor he finds the remains of the Seal. He examines the pieces, and finds that the seals are made of layers of different materials. He considers picking up some small pieces, then changes his mind. He rises back out of the hole and spends some time in the hidden chamber, looking at the tombs. He finds the names of Lord Commanders Stepan Lanik and Branik Camrey. The tombs are in eight layers of three, the Lord Commanders occupying to uppermost slabs. There are pieces of armours and cloth lying by the bodies, as well as some old, pitted swords. Tylendel leaves the tombs again, this time making his way towards the Lord Commander’s Keep.

The doors here are frozen solid and he flies in through a window. The hall looks like it hasn’t been visited in years. Tylendel makes his way into the Commander’s vault – he still remembers where he hid the key. Inside he finds a few books – among them the Codex of the Wolf - that he takes out into the main hall. On the way back he nips into his old room and finds the will making him the heir of Duke Emon Ingham – his dragon tooth is missing. Back in the main hall he leaves the will and the books on a table, then leaves and makes his way to Eamhyn’s smithy.

On the way there he spots a light ascending from the depths beneath the Hall, and he stops to watch. Quinton Messny is climbing the stairs from the abyss, carrying a hooded lantern in one hand, the other holding a bag of bones over a shoulder.
