Tylendel and Parafor continued to challenge each other verbally, then by magic tendrils. Radiant tendrils from Tylendel’s willpower, “chaining” himself to Parafor. Parafor realized what Tylendel is, and began “chaining” himself with arms of fire. Eventually Tylendel “consumed” Parafor and fell onto the walkway of the eastern barbican of the Argonhold.
Using what little he had left of magical power, he flew across the Riverlands, hearing skirmishes here and there, until he almost crash-landed (but stayed on his feet) in the huge courtyard of Tamolyn Pahórek.
He saw bodies strewn about the courtyard; a dead horse, a broken cart, a wagon with equipment, scattered weapons.
He went inside the temple itself, first down to the tombs. Blood spattered everywhere, still relatively fresh and dripping. Found people - mostly soldiers of the Prophet’s Host - slain; slashing wounds; the door to the tomb of Braek was still sealed; seated dead with his back to the door, the young Orlos Camrey-Imlia.
He went up to the prophet’s chambers, found him blue and dead; went into Eld’s chambers, bedsheets thrown about, Eld gone.
Went outside, saw a robed person checking on the fallen and others carrying and lifting bodies onto a wagon.
